Author of the OxBow Poems:Slow Walks on the Rio Grande, James Burbank lives, writes, and photographs in Albuquerque's North Valley.  For many years he has been a free-lance photographer and writer who has published more than 200 articles and photo features in various publications including Gnosis, The World &I, New Mexico Magazine, Financial Times, Reuters News Service. He taught for many years in the University of New Mexico's English Department, Professional Writing Program where he directed the Internship Program. He now writes, works on his music sound projects,  and photographs full time.
